CBSE Class 12 Chemistry Syllabus 2024 Published: The CBSE has successfully concluded the academic session 2022-23 with the declaration of results. Now academic session 2023-24 is underway. Acting swiftly, the CBSE has released the official syllabus for students who will appear in the board exam in 2024. The CBSE has published the detailed syllabus for Class 12 Chemistry on its official website.
The entire syllabus for the Class 12th Chemistry subject has been made available by the CBSE board at the beginning of the new academic year of 2023–2024. The syllabus and curriculum information for the class 12th Chemistry examination which will be held in 2024, has been made public by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). In order to perform exceptionally well in their board exams, students should examine the course syllabus quickly.
The senior secondary level of the CBSE’s chemistry curriculum is intended to foster comprehension of the fundamental chemistry facts and ideas and equip students to study chemistry at the academic and professional levels. Students starting a new academic year can now refer to the most recent syllabus and curriculum for information on the whole course structure, course contents, any additions or deletions of topics from the curriculum, question paper design, types of questions, Practical work details, and unit-wise weightage of marks. Understanding the complete curriculum is important so students have enough time to prepare. The unit-wise weighting assists students in allocating proportional time to each chapter.
The paper code for the CBSE class 12 chemistry is 043. Chemistry is an important subject for science students and is of utmost importance in the context of green energy. Over the past ten years, there have been significant advances in the knowledge of the field of chemistry. The entire class 12 chemistry syllabus is divided into Theory and Practical Examination. The weightage of the entire syllabus is 100 marks. The Chemistry syllabus is divided into two papers: Theory and practical. The theory examination will be conducted during the board exam in 2024. The theory examination will be held for 70 marks. The class 12th Chemistry syllabus is divided into 10 units. The examination for the theory part will be held for a duration of 3 hours in 2024. The theory exam will be held for 70 marks. CBSE Class 12 Chemistry Practical Syllabus
The Class 12th Chemistry practical examination will be held for 30 marks. The practical experiments have been divided into various segments. The total number of periods allocated to the practical examination is 60. Students will have to make a project assignment too.
