Overview:

American Express is hiring an experienced Finance Manager – FP&A. Located in Gurgaon, India, this Position is responsible for Finance Planning & Analysis activities related to Global Hotel supplier revenue (part of the Global Supplier Partnerships team, known as GSP), as well as play a key role in SOX compliance requirements.

What will you be doing:

Owner of financial planning & forecasting for Global Hotel revenue, ensuring budgets & forecasts are robust with risks and opportunities fully understood

Ensure that reporting to the Hotel GSP function is succinct, consistent & insightful, providing business leaders with the MI they need to drive financial results

Ensure robust tracking of financials to ensure variances are understood

Provide inputs to the GBT cashflow forecast on a regular basis

Responsible for Month-end preparation and Forecast model maintenance across all GSP revenue lines

Lead data driven Ad-hoc requests, and play key role in SOX compliance requirements.

Qualifications for this Job:

Accounting or Finance degree preferred/ CA qualified

Strong financial acumen & analytical skills with an ability to work in the detail and at strategic level

Ability to ‘tell the story’ as well as strong presentation skills

Strong process definition experience, with an ‘automation mindset’

Advanced Excel skills

Ability to work cross-functionally in a highly flexible, dynamic environment

Excellent communication skills, with ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization including the most senior leaders

Strong collaboration and influencing skills and experience working with Executive level colleagues

At least 4 years of experience in FP&A or business partnering roles

Team management experience

Knowledge of travel industry and trends would be an advantage
