Candidates should have done M. Tech or M.E or M.S. in Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent with atleast 60% marks (6.5 CGPA).
OR
Candidates should have done B. Tech. or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering with a GATE score and CGPA above 8.0/10.
Candidates with exposure to MATLAB will be preferred. Candidates in their final year are also eligible only if they pass out by 10th July 2023.

The selected candidate will perform his/her duty in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, NIT Jamshedpur.
In accordance with the NIT Jamshedpur Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selected candidate will get a salary of Rs 31,000 per month. The selected candidate will also get an HRA along with the salary.

The extension will be provided subject to the satisfactory performance of the JRF and the extension of the project.
