• The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization/department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 03 years.

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023, the eligibility criteria are listed below.

For Store Keeper Grade-I –

• The candidate serving under the Central Government:
• Holding analogous posts on regular basis OR
• Holding the posts carrying Pay Level 2 in the Pay Matrix with six years regular service in the grade; AND
• Three years experience in handling of Stores and keeping accounts in a store in any recognized firm or Central or State Government Organization or Public Sector Undertaking.

For Sarang Lascar –

• The candidate serving under the Central or State Government:-
• Holding analogous posts on regular basis OR
• Holding the posts carrying Pay Level 1 in the Pay Matrix with eight years regular service in the grade; AND

Possess the following qualifications: –

• Essential- A certificate of competency as Sarang from a recognized Government Institute or equivalent.
• Desirable- The candidate should have two years experience as Sarang incharge of a Vessel of twenty Horse Power.

Age Limit for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit for appointment on deputation shall not exceed 56 years, as on the closing date of receipt of applications.

Pay Scale for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023, the salary is mentioned below:

• The candidate will get a salary on Pay Level-04 in the Pay Matrix.
