GST Portal Update: GSTN added 4 New States for GST Payments Through Credit Cards/ Debit Cards on GST Portal

The GST Portal recently released an update that included an option to make GST payments using credit cards and debit cards.

To use this service, taxpayers should select the E-payment option, which will direct them to a separate section dedicated to Credit/ Debit Card payments. The GSTN has now included four new states: Jharkhand, Karnataka, Rajasthan, and Tripura.

It is critical for taxpayers to carefully consider the transaction fees connected with each payment method, especially when using Credit Cards, Debit Cards, or Bhim UPI sub-payment mechanisms.

To proceed with Credit/Debit Card payments, users need to follow these steps:

  • Select the E-payment option.
  • Within the E-payment section, choose the Credit/Debit Card option.
  • Subsequently, select the preferred bank for the transaction.
  • Tick the agreement box for terms and conditions.
  • Click on the “Make Payment” button to complete the transaction.

  • Delhi
  • Goa
  • Gujarat
  • Haryana
  • Himachal Pradesh
  • Kerala
  • Madhya Pradesh
  • Maharashtra
  • Odisha
  • Jharkhand
  • Karnataka
  • Rajasthan
  • Tripura
