IGNOU 2024: Re-registration Deadline Extended for January 2024 Session, Check Latest Update Here

Students at the Indira Gandhi National Open University have good news! The deadline for re-registering for the January 2024 session has been extended by the institution to March 10th, 2024. This extension gives students who might have missed the previous deadline of February 29th, 2024, a much-needed safety net.

It’s important to remember that individuals who re-register after the original deadline will be subject to late costs. In addition to the standard course charge, a flat late fee of INR 200 is due.

1. Visit the IGNOU Re-Registration Portal.
2. “Proceed for Re-Registration” will be clicked.
3. Put in your password and enrollment number.
4. Choose the semester and the electives you want to continue taking.
5. Carefully review your choices and the associated costs.
6. Make the online payment, including with any applicable late fees.
7. A copy of your confirmation receipt can be downloaded and saved.

It’s important to keep in mind that in order to continue your studies the following semester or year, you must re-register. Should you fail to the deadline entirely, you may face delays in resuming your studies.
