Bihar School Examination Board Extends Deadline for D.EL.Ed. Exam Applications

The Bihar School Examination Board has issued an official notification regarding the extension of the period for filling out online examination applications and depositing exam fees for the Bihar Diploma in Elementary Education Examination (D.El.Ed.) 2024.

According to the notification, principals and relevant individuals of training institutes recognized by ERC NCTE and affiliated with the Bihar School Examination Board are hereby notified about the extension. Previously, the last date for filling out the examination application form and depositing fees was set as March 11, 2024. The last date has been extended to March 15th, 2024.

Important Dates for Bihar D.EL.Ed. Examination 2024:

In consideration of students’ welfare, the extended dates for submission of online examination application forms and fees are as follows:

• Deadline for application submission without late fee: March 12, 2024, to March 15, 2024.
• Deadline for application submission with late fee: March 16, 2024, to March 21, 2024.

Steps to apply for Bihar DElEd 2024:

Here are the steps to easily apply for the Bihar DElEd JET:

1. Begin by visiting the official website of the Bihar School Examination Board, Patna: https://www.deledbihar.com/.
2. Look for the DElEd Joint Entrance Test 2024 link and click on it.
3. Once the application form opens, accurately fill in your basic and educational qualification details. Verify each detail to ensure accuracy.
4. Upload the required documents, including your 10th Certificate and intermediate mark sheets, as well as your photograph and signature.
5. Proceed to pay the application fee.
6. Review all entered details carefully and click on the Submit button to finalize the application process.

Application Fee for Bihar DElEd 2024:

To apply for the Bihar DElEd Notification, applicants are required to pay the following application fees:

• For General, Other Backward Class (OBC), and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates: Rs. 960.
• For Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates: Rs. 720.

It is further informed that a late fee of Rs. 175 per candidate is applicable.

If the examination fee has been deposited online within the stipulated period but the examination application form has not been submitted, the principal of the concerned institute is responsible for ensuring the pending examination application form and fees are deposited within the extended period.

Note: Failure to submit the pending examination application form within the specified period will result in the non-issuance of the original admit card. In such cases, any adverse situation arising concerning the students’ interests due to the non-issuance of the original admit card will be the responsibility of the principal of the concerned institute/student.
