FNB 2nd Round Online Centralised Merit Based Counselling Result Out
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the outcome of the second round of online, centrally scheduled merit-based counselling for admission to Fellow National Board (FNB) courses for the 2023 admission session.
Through its official notification, the NBE has disclosed the outcomes of the online, centralised merit-based counselling process for admission to FNB courses for the 2023 admission session.
The results of the Second Round of Online Centralized Merit Based Counseling for admissions to FNB courses for the 2023 Admission Session have been released on the NBEMS website (notice 01-06-2024). The resource is available below and will also be hosted on the NBEMS website i.e., counseling.nbe.edu.in
In order to take the assigned seat, the candidate must FIRST ACCEPT and FREEZE the assigned seat, as well as pay the non-refundable first-year course price of Rs. 1,25,000 (plus additional payment gateway costs) within the allowed time frame. Once the first year course cost is paid, the seat will be FROZEN in the designated person’s favour. Participants in the Mop-up Round of the Counseling, if any, organized by NBEMS are not permitted to be candidates who were assigned a seat during Rounds 1 or 2.
The seat assignment letter must be downloaded from the NBEMS website i.e., counseling.nbe.edu.in by the candidate who has FROZEN the seat and paid the first-year course cost. After downloading the seat allotment letter, the candidate must join the FNB course and report in person to the designated institute by 5 pm on 5th July 2024, if they have not done so already. If they do not, they will not be granted admission to the designated seat.
The candidate who chooses to freeze their assigned seat but does not pay the first-year course cost before 7th May 2024, at 5 pm, will forfeit their assigned seat. Such candidates will NOT be qualified to take part in any potential mop-up round of counselling.
The candidate will lose admission to the designated seat and the fees paid by the candidate will also be forfeited if, after paying the first year course fee, they fail to join the institute assigned, fail to provide their original documents for the institute to verify, or fail to meet the eligibility requirements specified during the document verification on or before 5th July 2024, at 5 pm.
The seat is only being offered provisionally and is contingent upon meeting the requirements for eligibility and presenting the required documentation in original form when entering the designated institution.
