Tata Steel is hiring an experienced Research Associate at their Jamshedpur location. This role requires study of micro-structure and identification of phases, hardness testing, interpretation of tensile testing and calculation of important parameters from tensile curve.

The complete details of this job are as follows:

Roles and Responsibilities

• The candidate is expected to carry-out heat-treatment experiments both at laboratory and pilot scale.
• Experience in using optical microscope and scanning electron microscope
• Data analysis, data plotting using different tools such as excel, origin, etc.
• Basic knowledge of metallography, sample preparation, image processing
• Literature study and summarising the technical content, report preparation

Qualification:

• B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/PhD in Metallurgy/Mechanical and Materials Science
• Engineering(Any Specialization).
• 0 to 3 years’ experience will prefer.
