For Junior Engineer (Survey Engineering) –

• The candidate should have a Full-Time Regular Three Years Diploma in Survey Engineering OR Diploma in Civil Engineering (with survey as a subject) from a recognized Technical Board / Institute having a minimum 70% marks.
• The candidate should have Higher technical qualification like B.E./B. Tech etc. with or without a Diploma, is not allowed either at the time of application or at the time of joining.

Experience –

• The candidate should have at least 04 years post qualification experience of which at least two years with minimum monthly gross wages/ emoluments of Rs. 25000.
• The candidate should have at least Four (4) years post-qualification working experience in surveying in Transmission lines with Total station/ DGPS/ Drones/ LIDAR survey operation.

For Surveyor-

• The candidate should have a Full-Time Regular Two-year ITI (Surveyor) from a recognized technical board/ Institute.
• The candidate should have Higher technical qualifications like a Diploma/B.E./B. Tech etc. with or without ITI, is not allowed either at the time of application or at the time of joining.
• The candidate should have at least Five (5) years post-qualification working experience in surveying in Transmission line with Total station/DGPS/ Drones/ LIDAR survey operation.

For Draughtsman –

• The candidate should have a Full-Time Regular Two-year ITI (Draughtsman Civil) / ITI (Architectural Draughtsman) from a recognized technical board/ Institute. (Qualification should be recognized in India and from Govt approved ITIs. / National Council for Vocational Education and Training/ State Council for Vocational Training)
• The candidate should have Higher technical qualifications like a Diploma/B.E./B. Tech etc. with or without ITI, is not allowed either at the time of application or at the time of joining.

Experience-

• The candidate should have at least Five (5) years post post-qualification working experience with an Architect or Structural Consultant or in an organization engaged in Engineering works.
• The experience should be in the field of preparation of drawings related to Civil or Electrical works using AUTOCAD software.
• The Candidates having experience in the organization involved in Power Transmission /Distribution / Rural electrification or in any other Power Sector company shall be preferred

Selection Process for PowerGrid Recruitment 2024:

Based on the official notification of PowerGrid Recruitment 2024, the mode of selection will be based on a Written Test through a Computer Based Test of eligible candidates and a Trade Test.

The Written Test shall be of Objective type (each question shall have four options) of 02 hours duration consisting of two parts –

• Part I consists of a Technical/Professional Knowledge Test (TKT/PKT) with 120 questions having specific questions from the respective disciplines.
• Part II consists of an Aptitude Test (AT) with 50 questions on vocabulary, verbal comprehension, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, data sufficiency & interpretation, numerical ability etc.
