NEET PG 2024 Result: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) announced the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) Result yesterday, August 23, 2024. The candidates who this year appeared for the NEET PG 2024 exam, held on August 11, 2024, can check their scorecard at the official website, natboard.edu.in by entering their login credentials. This year NBEMS used a normalisation process to convert the NEET PG 2024 marks into percentile scores. The NEET PG 2024 marks were converted into decimal numbers to avoid confusion and ties among candidates.
The NEET PG 2024 exam held on August 11, 2024, was organised into two shifts, one from 9 AM to 12:30 PM and the other from 3:30 PM to 7 PM. A total of 2,28,540 candidates appeared for the test, 1,07,959 were from shift one and 1,08,177 from shift two. The whole exam was conducted in English Language and was stretched upto 3 hours and 30 minutes. There were a total of 3 sections in the exam and each section had its sectional timing. There were a total of 200 multiple-choice questions in the exam.
The NEET PG 2024 result announced to provide shortlisted candidates admission into the 1,338 DNB CET, 26,168 Doctor of Medicine (MD), 13,649 Master of Surgery (MS), and 922 PG Diploma programs. The NEET PG 2024 Result includes details such as the candidate’s roll number, marks received, and rank attained. maximum NEET PG 2024 question paper included picture-based questions while 10% of the question paper included one-lier questions.
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has not issued any NEET PG Answer key this year. The NEET PG 2024 official information bulletin says, “NBEMS shall not entertain any request for sharing any content of the examination including answer keys, sheets”. The NEET PG 2024 question paper carried a total weightage of 800 marks. As per the NEET PG 2024 marking scheme, each mark carried 4 marks. There was negative marking in the exam. One mark is deducted was each incorrect answer.
