Ministry of External Affairs Recruitment 2024: The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) is recruiting willing, educated and experienced candidates for the post of Consultant. There are a total of 04 (four) vacancies open for the mentioned position. The contractual period is initially for 01 (one) year but can be extended further depending on the assessment of performance, mutual willingness, and depending on requirements. Candidates selected for the opportunity will be posted to the Ministry of External Affairs (South Block/Jawaharlal Nehru Bhawan/Sushma Swaraj Bhawan/Patiala House/ISIL Building/Akbar Bhavan), New Delhi.
In reference to the official notification of the Ministry of External Affairs Recruitment 2024, Candidates willing to apply for the above post must be Indian citizens, must have knowledge of foreign languages, and must have a Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in International Relations/Political Science/International Law from a recognized university in India or abroad. Applicant should be in the age group of 25-35 years as of the last date of submission of application. The chosen candidate for the stated position will be granted a maximum of Rs.10 lakh salary package per annum and deduction of applicable taxes. However, the contract can be extended further depending on the assessment of performance, mutual willingness and depending on the requirement. The contract may be terminated on one month’s notice from either side or on payment of one month’s pay in lieu thereof. Unauthorized absence may lead to termination of the engagement.
