In order to fill the Non-Executive Cadre positions of Diploma Technician and Operator in various Trades, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is now hiring qualified applicants. According to the official HAL Recruitment 2024 notification, there are 57 vacant positions.

Tenure for HAL Recruitment 2024:

As mentioned in the Official notification of HAL Recruitment 2024, selected applicants will be appointed for a tenure period of 04 years from the date of engagement. However, an extension of tenure for a further maximum period of 04 years may be considered on a case-to-case basis, in cases where workload and requirement exist, at the discretion of Management as per the extant rules of the Company.

Training Period for HAL Recruitment 2024:

Selected candidates on a tenure basis would participate in 8 weeks of induction training, per the official HAL Recruitment 2024 notification.

Qualification for HAL Recruitment 2024:

Diploma Technician (Mechanical) (Scale-D6)

• Applicant must have a full-time and regular Diploma in Mechanical Engineering acquired from recognized institutions / State board of technical education under the 10+3 system.

Diploma Technician (Electronics) (Scale-D6)

• Applicant must have a full-time and regular diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering acquired from recognized institutions / State boards of technical education under the 10+3 system
  OR
• Candidate should have an Ex-servicemen from the Indian Air Force / Indian Army / Indian Navy with basic Diploma in Engineering (ECE). Work experience on aircraft/radar is preferable.

Diploma Technician (Chemical) (Scale-D6)

• Candidate should have a Regular/full-time MSc in Chemistry acquired from a recognized University/ institution under the 10+2+3+2 system
  or
• Applicant must have a full-time and regular diploma in Diploma in Chemical Engineering acquired from recognized institutions / State board of technical education under the 10+3 system.

Operator (Electronic Mechanic) (Scale-C5)

• Candidate should have a NAC (3 years)
  or
• Applicant must have an ITI (2 years)-Electronic Mechanic with NAC/NCTVT.

Operator (Fitter) (Scale-C5)

• Candidate should have a NAC (3 years)
  or
• Applicant must have an ITI (2 years) – Fitter with NAC/NCTVT

OP Operator (Painter) (Scale-C5)

• Candidate should have a NAC (3 years).
  or
• Applicant must have an ITI (2 years)- Painter with NAC/NCTVT.

Operator (Turner) (Scale-C5)

• Candidate should have a NAC (3 years).
  or
• Applicant must have an ITI (2 years) – Turner with NAC/NCTVT.

Age Limit for HAL Recruitment 2024:

According to the official HAL Recruitment 2024 notification, the maximum age for the designated role is 28 years old.

The age of the candidate, after all applicable Age Relaxations should not exceed 56 years for
PwBDs and 55 years for other candidates as of 24-11-2024

Place of Posting for HAL Recruitment 2024:

As mentioned in the Official notification of HAL Recruitment 2024, the Chosen candidates will be posted in Hyderabad and any IAF bases like Srinagar, Sirsa, Bhatinda, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Gwalior, Tezpur, Chabua, Bagdogra, Hasimara, Kalaikunda, Bidar, Pune, Bhuj, Jamnagar, Jodhpur, Uttarlai, Mamun, Missamari and Goa. Any request for change in place of posting will not be entertained after joining and the place of posting will be considered as Headquarters for all future purposes. However, they will be liable to be transferred/posted to any place in India where HAL has Divisions / Bases / Offices based on organizational requirements.

The official HAL Recruitment 2024 notification states that candidates in the UR, OBC, OBC-NCL, and EWS categories must pay an Application Fee of Rs. 200. SC, ST, PWD, and Ex-apprentice of HAL, Hyderabad are exempted from this Application Fee.

Remuneration for HAL Recruitment 2024:

Based on the official notification HAL Recruitment 2024, candidates will be paid between Rs.22000 to Rs.23000 per month during the Tenure period.

Selection Process for HAL Recruitment 2024:

The selection process will be carried out through a  Written Test that will be held in Hyderabad, according to the official HAL Recruitment 2024 notification. Candidates will only be chosen based on their  Written Test scores, which will be arranged according to merit. The tentative date of the Written Test is 22.12.2024.

• Final selection will be made based on performance in the written examination. candidate Those who qualify for the written examination will be called for document verification sequentially and subsequent medical tests.

Medical Examination:

• Candidates who qualify in the Document Verification will be issued a Provisional Offer and they (including PwBDs) are required to undergo a Pre-employment Medical examination at HAL Hospital. No relaxation in Health Standards will be allowed.
