Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) is recruiting candidates to fill the post of Assistant Manager Grade ‘A’ – General Stream and Manager Grade ‘B’ – General and Specialist Stream. According to the official SIDBI Recruitment 2024 notification, there are 72 vacancies for the designated position.

Selection Process for SIDBI Recruitment 2024:

According to the official notification of  SIDBI Recruitment 2024, selection procedure will include a three-stage process i.e. Phase I (online screening examination consisting of one paper comprising seven (7) sections of a total of 200 marks), Phase II (online examination consisting of two papers of a total of 200 marks) and Phase III including Interview. Candidates who have been shortlisted in the Online Phase-II Examination will subsequently be called for an Interview. Interviews would be held at 5 centres viz. Chennai, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai and New Delhi.

• Company Secretary (CS) / Certified Management Accountant (CMA/ ICWA)/ Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)

• Chartered Accountant (CA)

• Candidate should have a MBA/ PGDM [in Any Discipline (the course must be of full time 2 years)] / from a University/ Institution recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC) / Govt. of India/ approved by Govt. regulatory bodies.

Manager Grade ‘B’ – Legal

• Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in law from any University/ Institution, recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC) / Govt. of India/ approved by Govt. regulatory bodies with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST and PwBD candidates, if vacancies are reserved for them) marks or equivalent in the aggregate of all semesters/years and enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of India.

Desirable:

• Candidates who possess a Master’s Degree in Law / Company Secretary (CS) will be preferred.
• Proficiency in computer applications.

• Applicants has at least 02 years’ experience in credit dispensation in the areas of MSME/Corporate and lending to trading and small commercial loans etc. (experience pertaining to personal loans, educational loan, Vehicle Loan, Housing Loan, etc. would not be considered) as an officer (permanent) in-

1. All India Financial Institutions Export-Import Bank of India (EXIM Bank), National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), National Housing Bank (NHB), National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID) and SIDBI.
   OR
2. Scheduled Commercial Banks included in the Second Schedule of the RBI Act, 1934
   OR
3. NBFCs registered with RBI

• Candidates having at least 02 years experience (core functioning) in:

1.  Entities dealing in Investment Banking / Merchant Banking registered with SEBI
   OR
2. Entities dealing in Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) registered with SEBI
   OR
3. Asset Reconstruction Companies (ARCs) registered with RBI
   OR
4. Subsidiary of Scheduled Commercial Banks dealing in the MSME segment
   OR
5. Project management (viz. administration and implementation of projects/ Schemes of national importance) with consultancy firms of national stature having experience of consulting & project management in a similar line for more than 10 years and should have specific experience of consulting/ Project management Government project implementation / Govt. Project management / Digital project related to lending / Consultancy for Govt. Projects.

Manager Grade ‘B’ – Legal

• Candidates having at least 05 years of work experience, post bachelor’s degree in law, as a Law Officer [permanent / on full-time direct contract (not outsourced)] in the Legal Department of:

1. Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI)
   OR
2. Any All-India Financial Institution like – Export-Import Bank of India (EXIM Bank), National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), National Housing Bank (NHB), National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID) and SIDBI.
   OR
3. Scheduled Commercial Banks included in the Second Schedule of the RBI Act, 1934.
   OR
4. Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs)
   OR
5. NBFCs registered with RBI

Desirable:

• Special knowledge of Banking Law, Company Law, Labour Law, Constitutional Law, Recovery, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Laws, Property and Revenue matters etc. and experience in drafting of pleadings and documents.

Probation for SIDBI Recruitment 2024:
