NTA JEE Mains 2025: Almost 8 Lakh Candidates Already Registered, Registrations to End Soon
NTA JEE Mains 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has already begun the registrations for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2025 on October 28, 2024. Till now approximately 8 lakh students have already registered for the examination. Registrations for JEE Main Shift 1 or the January examination will close on November 22, 2024. The NTA has been noticing an increase in the number of applications for JEE Mains 2024 these days as the last date is coming. The previous year, in 2023, almost 12 lakh candidates registered for the examination. 7.8 lakh candidates registered for the JEE Mains 2025 January exams. Till November 10, 20224, almost 5 lakh candidates had already registered for the JEE Main Shift 1 or January examination 2024.
The JEE Mains is a national-level entrance test, organised every year to provide students admission into the Indian Institutes of Technology or IITs. All the desired candidates are advised to register themselves for the JEE Mains 2025 exam as soon as possible, as the last date is coming. Application forms are open at the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. At the last moment, sites generally crash out and create problems in submitting the application forms. Hence to avoid the last minute of hustle, register now. It is possible this time, that NTA may not extend the registration deadline as so many students have already registered for the exam and the deadline is extended keeping in mind the number of exam centres available according to the candidates registered.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is sending registration confirmation messages to each candidate who has successfully completed every step of registration. After filling in the registration forms, candidates are required to pay the application fees in last to complete the registration process. Candidates who have successfully completed these registration steps have been sent a confirmation message to their registered email IDs. Candidates who have completed all the steps and still have not received the confirmation message are advised to keep checking their email ID to see if they have received the refunded money of fee.
