GPSC Recruitment 2025: Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) is seeking eligible aspirants for the Horticulture Officer Class III post under the Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Co-Operation Department. There are 75 positions available, Out of these 10 Vacancies are reserved for Physically Disabled candidates. According to the official GPSC Recruitment 2025 notification. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Horticulture) or a post-graduate degree in Agriculture (Horticulture) obtained from any of the Agricultural/Horticultural Universities incorporated or established by or under the Central Agricultural Universities Act or State Agricultural Universities Act in India. The Chosen candidates will get a monthly Pay Scale between Rs.39900 to Rs.126600 (pay matrix level-07).
The selection process comprises a Preliminary test and interview. Candidates will be declared eligible for the interview after scrutinizing the required applications as per the Preliminary test marks. The upper age limit for the assigned position should not be more than 37 years. Candidates should have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or Both. Desirous candidates who meet the criteria must fill out the Application form by visiting the official website and submit their Application form on or before the Last Date. Candidates are requested not to send the physical copy of the application to the Commission as of now. Candidates qualified for application scrutiny only have to upload their required Certificates/Documents online on the Commission’s website.

Candidates applying for the GPSC Recruitment 2025 must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Horticulture) or a post-graduate degree in Agriculture (Horticulture) obtained from any of the Agricultural/Horticultural Universities incorporated or established by or under the Central Agricultural Universities Act or State Agricultural Universities Act in India.
The official GPSC Recruitment 2025 notification states that the maximum age for the designated role is 37 years old. Age and Experience will be calculated as on the last date of online application.
As per the official notification of GPSC Recruitment 2025, candidates of the General (Unreserved) Category have to pay Rs.100 + applicable postal charges or in case of Online Payment, Rs.100 + Service charges as Application Fee, while Candidates belonging to reserved categories and Economically Weaker Sections of Gujarat State, Ex-serviceman and Person with Disability have not to pay Application Fees.
While candidates of reserved category of other states have to pay application fee. Candidates have to pay the following fees as a deposit for the consent form as may be required by the Commission
Candidates who appear in the examination after paying the prescribed fee along with the consent form will be refunded this fee. This fee will be charged as a deposit only
