Doordarshan Recruitment 2025: Doordarshan is inviting applications from qualified, desirous and experienced candidates for the post of Stringers/Cameraman in District Srinagar (Capital city), Anantnag, Kulgam, Shopian, Pulwama, Budgam, Ganderbal, Baramulla, Kupwara and Bandipora districts. As per the official notification of Doordarshan Recruitment 2025, there are 23 openings to be filled for the mentioned post. The applicant must be from Proprietor, Partnership Firm, or Corporate Body/Organisation with experience in coverages. Applicants equipped with four-wheel vehicles should have qualifications, experience and expertise in Cinematography/ Videography/ News Gathering/ Broadcast Journalism.
As per the official notification of Doordarshan Recruitment 2025, the chosen candidates will be paid for coverage irrespective of the length of footage or its usage inclusive of transportation and delivery charges. The processing fee is Rs.1180 (1000+18% GST=Rs.1180). The processing fee will be paid in favour of the Drawing and Disbursing Officer, Doordarshan Kendra, Srinagar. The demand draft of the processing fee should be submitted along with the application form. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria as given in the official notification of Doordarshan Recruitment 2025 may submit their application in the prescribed format along with the necessary documents to the address given below on or before the deadline. No application will be accepted after the due date.
As mentioned in the official notification of Doordarshan Recruitment 2025, there are 23 vacancies open for the post of Stringers/Cameraman in all 10 districts of Kashmir as mentioned below-

The candidates who are from Proprietor, Partnership Firm, or Corporate Body/Organisation with experience in coverages are eligible to apply for Doordarshan Recruitment 2025.
The selected candidates for Doordarshan Recruitment 2025 will be paid for coverage irrespective of the length of footage or its usage but inclusive of transportation and delivery charges for 1 local coverage of duration of 6 Hours @ Rs.1500 per coverage and in case duration of 6 Hours is exceeded or when it involves locations apart for more than 10 km, it will be treated as two coverage and the second coverage will be paid @ Rs.1000.
Based on the official notification of Doordarshan Recruitment 2025, the chosen candidates will be posted in District Srinagar (Capital City), Anantnag, Kulgam, Shopian, Pulwama, Budgam, Ganderbal, Baramulla, Kupwara and Bandipora districts.
The candidates have to pay Rs.1180 (1000+18% GST=Rs.1180) as a processing fee to apply for Doordarshan Recruitment 2025. In accordance with the official notification of Doordarshan Recruitment 2025, eligible and desirous candidates have to submit their application in the prescribed format along with copies of proof of Academic and Technical qualifications, experience, Demand Draft, and equipment ownership to the following address on or before the deadline. The applicants should be submitted in a sealed cover with the superscription “Empanelment of Stringers of DD News”. Applicants should mention in the application form the names of districts where they would wish to be empanelled.
