UPSC Recruitment 2025: New Notification Out For 979 Vacancies, Application Already Started
UPSC Recruitment 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for the Civil Service Examination 2025. There are 979 openings for Civil Service Examination, following the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2025, which includes 38 vacancies reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disability Category i.e., 12 Vacancies for candidates with blindness and low vision, 7 vacancies for candidates who are deaf or have hearing ailments, 10 vacancies for candidates with locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims and muscular dystrophy, and 9 Vacancies for candidates with multiple disabilities. Candidate should hold a Graduate degree of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions.
The applicant willing to apply for UPSC Recruitment 2025 should not be less than 21 years old and should not be more than 32 years old. Female/SC /ST /Persons with Benchmark Disability candidates are exempted from paying any Fee, whereas others are required to pay a Fee of Rs.100, which should be paid either by remitting the money in any Branch of State Bank of India by cash or by using Net Banking facility of any bank or by using Visa/Master/RuPay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment. As given in the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2025, the Civil Services Examination will consist of 3 stages; Preliminary, Main (Written), and Interview/Personality Test. Every candidate appearing at the examination, who is otherwise eligible, shall be permitted 6 attempts at the CSE. However, relaxation in the number of attempts will be available to the SC/ST/OBC and PwBD category candidates mentioned in the article below. As per the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2025, candidate must be at least 21 years old and not older than 32 years old on the 1st of August, 2025 i.e., the candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1993 and not later than 1st August, 2004.

Candidates applying for the UPSC Recruitment 2025 must have the following qualifications.
Referring to the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2025, candidate belonging to Female/SC /ST /Persons with Benchmark Disability candidates are exempted from paying any Fee, where others are required to pay a Fee of Rs.100, which should be paid either by remitting the money in any Branch of State Bank of India by cash or by using Net Banking facility of any bank or by using Visa/Master /RuPay /Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment.
Candidate who opt for “Pay by Cash” mode should print the system generated Pay-in-slip during part II registration and deposit the fee at the counter of SBI Branch on the next working day only.
“Pay by Cash” mode will be deactivated at 11:59 P.M. of 10.02.2025 i.e. one day before the closing date;
however applicants, who have generated their Pay-in- Slip before it is deactivated, may pay at the counter
of SBI Branch during banking hours on the closing date.
Such applicants who are unable to pay by cash on the closing date i.e. during banking hours at SBI Branch, for reasons whatsoever, even if holding valid pay-in-slip will have no other offline option but to opt for available online Debit/Credit Card/UPI Payment or Internet Banking payment mode on the closing date i.e. till 6 P.M. of 11.02.2025.
As given in the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2025, every candidate appearing at the examination, who is otherwise eligible, shall be permitted for 6 attempts at the CSE. However, relaxation in the number of attempts will be available to the SC/ST/OBC and PwBD category candidates who are otherwise eligible.
