ABB is hiring an experienced Risk & Internal Controls Team Lead at their Bangalore location. You will be working as Risk & Internal Controls Team Lead, reporting to Risk & Internal Controls Manager for Finance Operational Service based in Bangalore, India. You will to be actively involved in working with the internal control team and business in aligning to the global requirements established by ARIC.

What will you be doing:

Supporting point of contact to walkthrough the design of assigned process

Testing of controls to determine operating effectiveness

Discussing any identified issues with the process/control owners and obtaining action plans for remediation

Ensuring deficiencies and remediations are reported and progressed in a timely manner

Escalating and managing compliance issues where required

Qualifications for this Job:

Bachelor’s Degree in Audit, Tax, Finance/Accounting, business or related discipline/Master’s degree in related discipline preferred

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in internal controls

Experience in general Risk Management, Internal Control reviews, and Change Management

Good business process knowledge and ability to identify gaps in design

Ability to document processes within logical flowcharts and capable of drafting accompanying narratives

Ability to identify risks and propose appropriate covering actions
