Overview:

ABB is hiring an experienced Tax Lead at their Bangalore location. In this role you will be reporting to Tax Manager and will be responsible for providing the tax expertise in the area of capital structures, legal structures, cross border reorganizations, transfer pricing, intra-group arrangements, tax accounting and reporting or any other tax matters as well as tax strategies that reflects the overall strategy and global initiatives.

What will you be doing:

Responsible for correcting the calculation of tax liabilities, filing of indirect tax returns, tax GL mapping, tax reconciliations

Clearing and auditing the compliance related US and Canada tax compliance

Leading and implementing the quality initiatives for the business units

Driving the best practices for ensuring the continued trajectory in integration

Collaborating with other FIOS teams (AP, AR, IG) for building a better process.

Qualifications for this Job:

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in accounting or finance

Minimum 4-6 years of experience in US and Canada indirect taxes

Exposure to tax exemption certificates and local legal requirements and should be capable of resolving notices

Knowledge on SAP ERP, vertex O series

Experience in US sales and use tax and Canada GST tax
