Aditya Birla Sun Life MF launches ‘Choti SIP’
Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund has launched ‘Choti SIP’ to make systematic investing more affordable and accessible for everyone. Investors can start their investment with just Rs. 250 per month.
Choti SIP offers all schemes other than Small, Midcap Funds, Debt, Sectoral and Thematic. Investors are required to make a minimum of 60 instalments, though early withdrawals are permitted.
Investors who already have investments in other mutual funds, SIPs or lump-sum investments cannot opt for this scheme. The plan is available only with the Growth option, and you can make payments using NACH or UPI auto pay.
Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC Limited was established in 1994, and it manages the Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund. The company also provides services for portfolio management, real estate investments and alternative investment funds.
The company’s asset under management (AUM), as of December 31, 2024, was Rs. 4 lakh crore. Aditya Birla Capital Limited (ABCL) is a registered Core Investment Company (CIC) and the holding company of the financial services businesses. As of December 31, 2024, its AUM was Rs. 5.03 lakh crore.
A Balasubramanian, the Managing Director and CEO of Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC Ltd, has highlighted the benefits of the scheme. He said that ‘Choti SIP’ reduces the entry barrier and encourages systematic investing. The scheme will promote financial inclusion by allowing individuals to start their journey towards disciplined wealth creation.
