Post Name for AIIMS Patna Recruitment 2023:

Applications are invited for the Roles of Scientist B (Non-Medical) and Lab Technician. There are 03 vacancies for the Posts including 01 vacancy for the Post of Scientist B (Non-Medical) and 02 vacancies for the Post of Lab Technician.

Age-Limit for AIIMS Patna Recruitment 2023:

The age of the candidate shall be below 35 years for the Post of Scientist – B (Non-Medical).

The age of the candidate shall be below 30 years for the Post of Laboratory Technician.

Qualification for AIIMS Patna Recruitment 2023:

For Scientist-B (Non-Medical)

Essential Qualification:

i) B.Tech Biotechnology with 2 years experience from a recognized university. OR

ii) First-class Master’s degree in a relevant subject from a recognized university. OR

iii) Second class M.Sc. + Ph.D. degree in relevant subject from a recognized university.

Desirable Qualification:

i) Doctorate degree in Virology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Parasitology/ Immunology from a recognized university/institute.

ii) Additional research/training experience in Virology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Parasitology/ Immunology.

Knowledge of computer applications or business intelligence tools/ data management.

For Laboratory Technician:

Essential Qualification:

i) B.Sc. (MLT)/B.Sc. in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Life sciences from a recognized

university.

ii) Candidate should have basic knowledge of common laboratory techniques.

Desirable Qualifications:

i) Candidates with technical experience of working in Virology/ Microbiology laboratories and having experience in blood sample drawing from patients will be given preference.

Knowledge of computer applications or business intelligence tools/ data management.

Emoluments for AIIMS Patna Recruitment 2023:

The selected candidate for the Scientist B (Non-Medical) post will be paid a consolidated monthly sum of Rs. 56000 + HRA.

The selected candidate for the Scientist B (Non-Medical) post will be paid a consolidated monthly sum of Rs. 20000+ HRA.

Tenure for AIIMS Patna Recruitment 2023:

These assignments are purely on a contract basis for a period of up to 01 year which may be extended up to 3 March 2026.

Eligible candidates may attend the walk-in interview along with the application as per the prescribed proforma along with a certificate of age, qualification, and experience, complete in all respects as hard copies.

The interview will be held on 17-01-2023 (Wednesday). Candidates are requested to report at 9:00 am. The walk-in interview will be conducted in the Department of Microbiology, Admin Block, AIIMS, Patna.
