As given in the official notification of AIIMS recruitment 2023, the vacancy is open for the posts of Associate Professor, Professor, Assistant Professor and Additional Professor under various departments.

Age Limit for AIIMS Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of AIIMS recruitment 2023, the age limit is given below-

Candidates applying on Direct Recruitment Basis: Faculty Post: Age limit not exceeding 50 years for Assistant Professor and Associate Professor and 58 years for Additional Professor and Professor.

Candidates applying on a Deputation Basis: The deputation will be governed by the standard terms and conditions of deputation provided under the Department of Personnel & Training as amended from time to time.

Candidates applying on a Contractual Basis: Professor /Additional Professor/ Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor: – Not exceeding 70 (Seventy) years as of closing date.

Age relaxation

SC/ST- 5 Years
OBC- 3 Years
PwBD (OPH)- 5 Years
Government Servant- 5 Years

Salary for AIIMS Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of AIIMS recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be given a monthly salary as given below-

For Professor– The selected candidates will be given a monthly salary in Level 14-A (Rs.168900-220400)

For Additional Professor– The selected candidates will be given a monthly salary in Level 13A-2 (Rs.148200-211400)

For Associate Professor- The selected candidates will be given a monthly salary in Level 13A-1 (Rs.138300-209200)

For Assistant Professor- The selected candidates will be given a monthly salary in Level 12 (Rs.101500-167400)

Qualification for AIIMS Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for AIIMS recruitment 2023 must have the given below qualifications-

For Professor-

Medical Candidates: Candidates should have Fourteen years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in a subject specialty after obtaining an M.D./M.S./M.D.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. Or Twelve years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in a subject specialty after obtaining of M.Ch./D.M. (2 years or 5 years course recognized after MBBS) in respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. Or Eleven years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in a subject specialty for candidates possessing 3 years of a recognized degree of D.M/ M.Ch in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Non-Medical candidates: Candidates should have fourteen years of teaching and/or research experience indiscipline/subject concerned after obtaining a Ph.D.

For Additional Professor-

Medical Candidates: Candidates should have ten years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in a subject specialty after obtaining an M.D. /M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. Or Eight years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in a subject specialty after obtaining of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) in respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. Or Seven years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in a subject specialty for a candidate possessing 3 years of recognized degree D.M./M.Ch. in respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Non-Medical candidates: Candidates should have ten years of teaching and/or research experience indiscipline/subject of concern after obtaining a Ph.D.

For Associate Professor-

Medical Candidates: Candidates should have six years of teaching and/or research experience in experience in a recognized institution in a subject specialty after obtaining an M.D./M.S. or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. Or Four years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in a subject specialty after obtaining of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) in respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. Or Three years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject specialty for a candidate possessing 3 years of recognized degree D.M. /M.Ch. in respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Non-Medical candidates: Candidates should have Six years of teaching and/or research experience in indiscipline/subject of concern after obtaining a Ph.D.

For Assistant Professor-

Medical Candidates: Candidates should have three years of teaching and/or research experience in experience in a recognized institution in their subject specialty after obtaining an M.D./M.S./M.D.S. Or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. Or One year of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in a subject specialty after obtaining of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) or qualification recognized degree in D.M./M.Ch or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for candidates possessing three (3) years of a recognized degree of D.M./M.Ch. or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Non-Medical candidates: Candidates should have three years of teaching and/or research experience indiscipline/subject of concern after obtaining a Ph.D.
