Army Air Defence Centre Recruitment 2022: The Army Air Defence Centre under the Ministry of Defense department is seeking applications from desirous applicants to serve anywhere in India for the Post of Cook, LDC, MTS (Messenger, Safaiwala, Daftry & Chowkidar) and Washerman.
As per the Official Notification, there are a total of 13 vacancies for the Posts as of now. The age of the candidate selected for the above posts shall be between 18 to 25 years. The crucial date for reckoning the age limit and essential qualification is the last date of receipt of the application. Commandant, Army AD Centre, Golabandha, Ganjam (Odisha) PIN – 761052 has invited applications for direct recruitment basis to these posts. The age of the candidate selected for the above posts shall be between 18 to 25 years. The crucial date for reckoning the age limit and essential qualification is the last date of receipt of the application.
For Cook:
(i) The eligible candidate shall have a Matriculation or equivalent; and
(ii) Must have knowledge of Indian Cooking and proficiency in trade
For LDC:
(i) The applicant should pass 12th Class from a recognized Board or University.
(ii) Should pass a typing test with a minimum speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on the computer. (corresponding to 10500/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).
For MTS (Messenger, Safaiwala, Daftry & Chowkidar)
Essential:
The eligible candidate should be a Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized Board.
Desirable:
He/She should be Conversant with the duties of respective trades with one year’s experience in the trade.
For Washerman:
Essential:
He/She should be a Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized Board. Must be able to wash military/Civilian clothes thoroughly and well.
For the LDC and Cook, the selected candidate will be placed at Level – 2 (Rs. 19900 – 63200) Scale of Pay 7th CPC.
The candidates selected for the MTS (Messenger, Safaiwala, Daftry & Chowkidar) and Washerman will be placed at Level – 1 (Rs. 18000 – 56900) in the 7th CPC.
Selection will be made on the basis of the following:
(a) Competitive Written Examination
(b) Aptitude/Skill/Typing test of qualifying nature.
The written Exam will consist of multiple choice questions on General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English, and General Awareness for a duration of 2 hours for General candidates and 2 hours 20 minutes for visually handicapped candidates only.
Details of the Aptitude/Skill/Typing test with time & duration will be intimated to the candidates who qualify for the written examination through call letters for the said tests which will be uploaded on the Army Air Defence Centre Recruitment 2022 Notification.
Applicants have to fill in details with signatures on the prescribed Application form as given in Army Air Defence Centre Recruitment 2022 Notification, duly typed on A4 paper. The envelope enclosing the application form is to be boldly enfaced on top “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _________________” and category as the case may in capital letters only addressed to “The Commandant, Army AD Centre, Ganjam (Odisha) PIN – 761052”.
The last date for the receipt of the application will be up to 21 days from the publication of the recruitment notification in the Newspaper.
