Overview:

Pepsico is hiring an experienced Sector IT Analyst at their Hyderabad location. Primary focus would be to drive Data Engineering build for key projects.  This would include development work within the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) platform on Teradata, Azure Data Lake, and other related technologies, with the responsibility of ensuring on time and on budget delivery; Satisfying project requirements, while adhering to enterprise architecture standards.  Role will drive key data & analytics projects and resources, including innovation related initiatives (e.g. moving the EDW platform to the cloud; database encryption; enabling rapid experimentation etc.)

Drive solution design and build to ensure scalability, performance, and reuse.

Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery which satisfies project requirements, while adhering to enterprise architecture standards.

Facilitate work intake, prioritization, and release timing; balancing demand and available resources.  Ensure tactical initiatives are aligned with the strategic vision and business needs.

The Ideal Candidate should also have:

Excellent remote collaboration skills.

Experience working in a matrix organization with diverse priorities.

Strong database skills.

Ability to work with virtual teams (remote work locations); within team of technical resources (employees and contractors) based in multiple global locations.

Participate in technical discussions, driving clarity of complex issues/requirements to build robust solutions.

Strong communication skills to meet with delivery teams and business-facing teams, understand sometimes ambiguous, needs, and translate to clear, aligned requirements.

Eligibility:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Management, or related field.

6-8 years’ experience in Information Technology.

Good written and verbal communication skills along with collaboration and listening skills.

Experience dealing with multiple vendors as necessary.

Good understanding of PepsiCo business processes, data, and EDW/MDM environments.

Ability to work with agile delivery methodologies.

Ability to ideate requirements & design iteratively with business partners without formal requirements documentation.

3-4 years experience in Data Warehouse and ETL build and technologies.

2+ years of cloud (Azure) data engineering.

Solutions Delivery experience – system development lifecycle, integration, and sustainability.

Data modeling or database experience; experience with ER/Studio and/or Erwin modeling tools.

Experience in Data, BI, or Analytics projects.

Good knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data catalog tools (Alation).
