In accordance with the official notification of BARC Recruitment 2024, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) is seeking applications for the disciplines such as Intensivist, General Physician, Ophthalmologist, Gastro- enterologist, Neonatologist, Radiologist, Pathology Technologist and Physiotherapist. There are a total of 12 seats open for the assigned disciplines.

Age Limit for BARC Recruitment 2024:

Candidates are required to fulfil the below-listed age limits in order to apply for BARC Recruitment 2024:

• For disciplines other than Radiologist and Physiotherapist disciplines: Candidates must possess a maximum and minimum age of 25 and 60 years respectively.
• For the Radiologist discipline: Candidates must not exceed the age of 59 years.
• For Physiotherapist discipline: Candidates must not exceed the age of 40 years.

Qualification and Experience Required for BARC Recruitment 2024:

For Intensivist discipline:

• Candidates must hold an MD/DNB (General Medicine) and a degree in Intensive Care from an institute recognised by MCI.

Experience:

• Minimum 4 to 10 years of experience in the field of Tertiary care, Critical care Unit.

For General Physician discipline:

• Candidates must hold an M.D/DNB degree in General Medicine, Speciality with a

• Candidates must hold a DM (Gastroenterology).
• 04 to 10 years of experience.

For Neonatologist discipline:

• Candidates must hold a DM/DNB (Neonatologist).
• with 4 to 10 years of experience.

For Radiologist discipline:

• SO/D: Candidates must hold an M.D. /DNB or equivalent in radio-diagnosis from a recognized University

Experience: Should have minimum of 1 to 4 years of experience.

• SO/F: Candidates must hold an M.D. /DNB or equivalent in Radio-diagnosis from a recognized University.

Experience:

• Should have 10 to 16 years of experience.
• Experience in conventional sonography and all types of CT scan reporting.

For Pathology Technologist discipline:

• Candidates must hold an MSc Science with PGDMLT/DMLT OR MSC (MLT/Microbiology/Biochemistry/ Health Science) with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years experience in a medical diagnostic laboratory. Candidates with experience/certification in QA management systems and internal audits in medical laboratories shall be preferred.

For Physiotherapist discipline:

• Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Four and Half Years course) with a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates possessing/acquired MPT (PG) qualifications will not be considered. Registration with the Maharashtra State Council for physiotherapists is essential.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience after completion of BPT in hospital setup. Basic computer knowledge is essential as the physiotherapist will have to enter the patient’s medical data into the computer.
