Overview:

BCG is hiring an experienced Business Analyst at their New Delhi location. You will be a business partner to the Data and Research Services (DRS) management and leadership team, enabling metric-based decision making for Global DRS operations and economics. The DRS Business Analyst is expected to provide management information, analysis, and coordination support.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Ideal Candidate should be able to:

Analyze large data sets with ability to draw conclusions and provide insights to stakeholders

Support Senior Business Analyst in both ad hoc and standard PowerPoint & Excel reports

Running weekly and monthly reporting and analysis, send key highlights to Leadership Team

Work with developer to customize Tableau dashboards for different DRS cohorts & use cases

Maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data regularly

Ensuring the base data is captured accurately (incl. billing and operations data)

Own weekly billing process from Request Management System and send to Finance team

Partner with Finance team to understand economics of business and match with ops data

Interpret stakeholder business needs and translate them into operational requirements

Systems and Process

Work with operational leaders within the business to provide recommendations on opportunities for process improvements

Go-to person for Request Management System operations questions

Tracking vendor people changes, assist with onshore/offshore logistics

Tracking licenses, distribution, usage, and economics

Administrative

Maintaining theoretical capacity of internal and external resources

Managing out of office procedures on holidays, handling Capacity Manager and internal surveys

Triaging ad hoc inquiries about process, training, and location of documents

Support KBA Project Managers with the collection and analysis of financial, technical and other elements for detailed project business case generation

Gather and analyze project business objectives/pain points, understand and document the business’ vision

Understand and effectively document detailed business processes, systems capabilities and other various user requirements

Perform gap analyses with respect to existing system capabilities and/or processes

Serve as the lead on business requirements gathering for project teams

Collaborate on functional/technical design specifications created by IT Business Systems Analyst from business requirements, and ensure alignment with business vision and requirements

Drive User Acceptance Testing function on projects and contribute to the overall improvement of the QA function across business and technical teams

Review and supplement as needed system documentation created by IT to ensure effectiveness

Create end user communications or documentation to support UAT and change management efforts

Eligibility:

Degree in computer science, information management, business administration or a related field

2+ years of work experience in business analysis

Proficiency in Microsoft applications with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint

Strong level of comfort with numbers, ability to tell a story with data

Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and experience analyzing large, complex datasets

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Experience with Tableau preferred

Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work independently with senior and global BCG members and peers

Able to demonstrate presence and maturity, even in stressful situations

Exceptional process and project management skills – exhibits strong follow-through and accountability

Self-starter, good at prioritizing, creative, anticipates problems and seeks appropriate escalation points, suggests solution

Willingness to work in late evening hours to accommodate US based meetings
