Beware! Fake Emails on “Discrepancy in Filing” Circulating, MCA Alerts

Recently, a few companies have reported receiving unknown emails with the subject “Discrepancy in filing MCA” claiming to be from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. These emails claimed to be sent from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA); however, they were not in reality.

Individuals are advised to be aware of fake email scams; remember, all official communications by MCA are always shared only via email addresses ending with @mca.gov.in. Be careful of fake messages or websites using strange or unknown web addresses. Individuals are recommended to avoid clicking on any unknown links or downloading unsolicited attachments from untrustworthy sources.

However, if you have received any of these kinds of emails, try avoiding clicking on any links and do not download any attachments. Immediately contact cyber authorities and report the scam.
