BIRAC Recruitment 2022; BIRAC is a Schedule B ‘Not-for-profit’ Section 8, Public Sector Enterprise, set up by the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology as an Interface Agency to strengthen and empower the emerging biotech industry to undertake strategic research and Innovation, addressing nationally relevant product development needs.

BIRAC is hiring for the post of Managing Director under schedule B of CPSE. Pay scale for the post of managing director is Rs.1,80,000-3,20,000+ other perks (Total approximate emoluments Rs. 2.75 lakhs to Rs. 5.25 lakhs). The appointment shall be for five years from the date of joining, or up to the date of superannuation, or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.

Job description & Responsibilities for BIRAC Recruitment 2022

The Managing Director is the Chief Executive of the Corporation and is accountable to its Board of Directors and Government of India/Shareholders. He/ She is responsible for the efficient functioning of the Corporation, and for achieving its corporate objectives and performance parameters.

Eligibility for BIRAC Recruitment 2022

Age Limit: Maximum age for the post of Managing Director as on the last date of receipt of applications is 57 years

Essential Qualification: The applicant should be a Graduate with good academic record from a recognized University/Institution.

Experience:

a. The Applicant should have at least 15 years of experience in Biotechnology or areas related to mandate of BIRAC.

b. Experience at leadership position in similar scientific, technical or industrial institution/organization or in government would be desirable.
