BITSAT 2024 re-exam: Overview

BITSAT 2024 Application Form:

The BITSAT 2024 application form for Session II is now accessible online at bitsadmission.com. Candidates can fill out and submit the BITSAT 2024 application form until the last date, June 8, 2024. The processes outlined below can be used to complete and submit the BITSAT application form 2024.

• Registration: The first stage requires candidates to go to the official website, bitsadmission.com, and click on the registration link. Registration requires a valid email address and a mobile phone number.
• Filling out the form: After successfully registering, candidates must fill out their personal, communication, and academic information in the BITSAT 2024 application form. All of the information must be valid. Candidates must additionally select three exam centers, in the order of preference.
• Uploading documents: In the next phase, candidates must upload scanned images of their signatures and photographs in the format specified. If the uploaded documents do not meet the official standards, they will not be accepted.
• Payment of application fee: After submitting all of the details and uploading the documents, candidates must pay the BITSAT 2024 application fee online, by PayU Money, PayTM, or ICICI Payment Gateway. The authorities will not take any other forms of payment.
• Submission of the form: After paying the cost, aspirants must submit their BITSAT application. Before submitting the final version, they must review all of the facts and documentation.

The authorities had begun the BITSAT 2024 application procedure for Session I from January 14 to April 16, 2024.

BITSAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

Before registering, applicants should review the official BITSAT 2024 eligibility criteria. If the candidates do not match the qualifying requirements, they will be excluded from the admission process.

Admission requirements for BITS First Degree programs, except BPharm (Hons):  

• Candidates must have passed a 12th grade test in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognized Central or State board or equivalent. Candidates must be proficient in English.
• Should have received a minimum of 75% overall in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, with at least 60% in each of the three disciplines.

For admission into BPharm (Hons):   

• Should have passed the 12th grade test from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Candidates must be proficient in English. Candidates who have completed PCMB in Class 12 can, nevertheless, apply for the Pharmacy program at BITS campuses.
• The candidates should have secured a minimum aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (and Maths, if they are PCMB students), with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. students) subjects.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Students are advised to Keep in mind the following Additional Eligibility Criteria:

• Only students who are taking their 12th grade exam in 2024 or who graduated in 2021 are eligible to take the BITSAT 2024. Students who took their Class 12 test in 2020 or earlier are not eligible to take the BITSAT 2024.
• If a candidate has attempted the 12th standard or its equivalent more than once, only his or her most recent performance will be evaluated, as long as this attempt covered the entire component of subjects/courses recommended.
• Candidates who are currently enrolled in any of the BITS campuses will not be eligible to take the BITSAT 2024.
• Admission decisions will be based solely on merit. The candidate’s merit position for admission will be determined by their score on the BITSAT 2024. However, their entrance is contingent on earning the minimum marks required in the Class 12 board exam, as previously stated.

BITSAT 2024 Syllabus:

The BITSAT 2024 syllabus has been finalized and made available online. It should be noted that the BITSAT syllabus is equivalent in level to the NCERT syllabus for the 11th and 12th grades. For the BITSAT 2024, candidates must study Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, Logical Reasoning, and English Proficiency. To be well-prepared for the BITSAT 2024, all applicants should familiarize themselves with the syllabus. Candidates are recommended to prepare the full BITSAT syllabus in order to increase their chances of obtaining the necessary admission scores.

• Physics: Units and measurement, rotational motion, solid mechanics, heat and thermodynamics, and so on.
• Chemistry topics covered include atomic structure, states of matter, physical and chemical equilibrium, s and p-block elements, organic chemistry fundamentals, hydrocarbons, and more.
• Mathematics includes algebra, trigonometry, three-dimensional geometry, differential calculus, and linear programming, among other things.
• English proficiency includes vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, analogy, and composition.
• Analogy, classification, and reading passages are examples of verbal reasoning, while nonverbal reasoning includes figure matrices, paper cutting, rule detection, and so on.
