Qualification for BSF Recruitment 2023:

As per BSF Recruitment 2023 notification, below mentioned are the qualification requirements for these posts.

Assistant Aircraft Mechanic (Assistant Sub-Inspector)

(i) (a) Three years Diploma in the relevant trade recognized by the Directorate General Civil Aviation;
or
(b) Group “X” Diploma issued by the Indian Air Force;
(ii) Preferably two years of relevant aviation experience after completion of the Diploma course.

Assistant Radio Mechanic (Assistant Sub-Inspector)

(i) (a) Three years Diplomas recognized by the Directorate General Civil Aviation in Telecommunication or Electronic Engineering;
or
(b) Group “X” Radio Diploma issued by the Indian Air Force.
(ii) Preferably two years experience in maintenance or overhauling of communication or Navigation equipment fitted in Aircraft or helicopters held by Border Security Force.

Constable (Storeman)

(i) Matriculation pass with Science; or equivalent from a recognized Board.
(ii) Must have two years working experience in-store or warehousing of any Government or Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous Organization or any company or private firm or Institution.
(iii) Working knowledge in computer or having prior aviation experience is preferable.

Age Limit for BSF Recruitment 2023:

As per BSF Recruitment 2023 notification, age limits are given below:

Assistant Aircraft Mechanic (Assistant Sub-Inspector)

The maximum age limit not exceeding 28 years as of the closing date of receipt of online applications.

Assistant Radio Mechanic (Assistant Sub-Inspector)

The maximum age limit not exceeding 28 years as of the closing date of receipt of online applications.

Constable (Storeman)

The maximum age limit not exceeding 20 to 25 years on the closing date of receipt of online applications.

Pay Level for BSF Recruitment 2023:

As per BSF Recruitment 2023 notification, pay level details are given below:

Assistant Aircraft Mechanic (Assistant Sub-Inspector)

Selected candidates will be paid off with a salary of between (Rs. 29,200 -Rs. 92,300/-) as per 7th CPC.

Assistant Radio Mechanic (Assistant Sub-Inspector)

Selected candidates will be paid off with a salary of between (Rs. 29,200 -Rs. 92,300/-) as per 7th CPC.

Constable (Storeman)

Selected candidates will be paid off with a salary of between (Rs. 21,700 -Rs. 69,100/-) as per 7th CPC.

Selection Process for BSF Recruitment 2023:

As per BSF Recruitment 2023 notification, the selection process details are given below:

(i) FIRST PHASE (WRITTEN EXAMINATION)

(ii) SECOND PHASE EXAMINATION

(a) DOCUMENTATION

(b) PHYSICAL STANDARDS TEST (PST)

(c) PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST (PET) 

(d) MEDICAL EXAMINATION

Application Fee for BSF Recruitment 2023:

As per BSF Recruitment 2023 notification, fee details are given below:

Candidates have to pay Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred only) as an examination fee plus Rs.47.20 service charges levied by Common Service Centre (CSC) through the following payment modes.
(i) Net banking of any bank.
(ii) Credit/Debit Card of any bank.
(iii) Nearest authorized Common Service Centre.

NOTE:-
(i) Female candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, BSF serving personnel, and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from payment of examination fees.
(ii) Payment of examination Fee will be accepted only through Online mode
(iii) Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
(iv) In case of non-receipt of examination fee from the candidates of nonexempted categories, their form will not be accepted.
