CA Exams 2024: Delhi High Court to hear petition postponing CA Final and Inter Exam dates today CA Exams 2024: On April 8, 2024 i.e. today, the Delhi High Court will consider a plea to postpone the Date Sheet of the Chartered Accountants (CA) Inter and Final exams for May 2024. As tweeted by Adv Anubha Shrivastava Sahai, the matter will be taken before the Bench of Hon'ble Justice C Hari Shankar Delhi High Court. Because of the impending Lok Sabha elections, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) altered the CA Inter and Final exams for May 2024. The CA candidates, however, had requested a change to the previously declared exam dates in spite of the new date, and as a result, a petition was filed in the Delhi High Court on their behalf. The updated schedule states that Group 2 tests will take place on May 11, 15, and 17 instead of May 9, 11, and 13, and CA Inter Group 1 exams will take place on May 3, 5, and 9 instead of May 7. Comparably, instead of May 6, CA Final Group 1 tests will take place on May 2, 4, and 8; similarly, Group 2 exams will take place on May 10, 14, and 16 instead of May 8, 10, and 12. Exam dates will stay the same even if the Central Government or any State Government or Local Authority declares a day during the exam period a public holiday, according to the updated schedule released by the ICAI. The Institute has announced that, in place of the previous biannual schedule, the CA Foundation and Inter Exams will now be held three times a year. Following the May 2024 exams, a modification to the examination pattern is anticipated.
