CAG Recruitment 2022: ‘The Comptroller and Auditor General of India’ is known to be the constitutional authority in India which was established under article 148 of the Indian Constitution. The authority owns the power to audit all receipts and expenditures of the Government of India, and also state governments, which includes those of autonomous bodies and corporations substantially financed by the government. The CAG also acts as the statutory auditor of Government-owned corporations and conducts supplementary audits of government companies.

Appointed by the President of India, the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) authority appoints eligible professionals for various vacant posts every year. At present, there is a vacancy for the post of ‘Accounts Officer (Level-10)’ in the department. The recruitment for the vacant post will be purely on a deputation basis, and the place of the posting will be at National Bio-diversity Authority, Chennai.

Eligibility Criteria for CAG Recruitment 2022

Those who are going to apply for the post of Accounts Officer (Level-10) in the CAG recruitment 2022 must check if they meet all the requirements for the job. It is important to note that Sr. Audit Officer or Sr. Accounts Officer or Asst Audit Officer or Asst. Accounts Officers with 2 years of regular service in the cadre will be considered eligible to apply for the post. In addition, the candidate must be experienced in the relevant field as well as in administration.

Age Limit

The age limit preferred to apply for the vacant post in National Bio-diversity Authority, Chennai is 56 years and should not be exceeded as of the closing date of the receipt of the application.

Willing candidates will need to send their duly filled application form to the Asstt. Comptroller and Auditor General (N)-I. The application form can be downloaded from the website at cag.gov.in by going through the Career tab. Candidates must send their application form only in the prescribed proforma along with scanned copies of all the required documents. The documents which are to be sent along with the application form include certification by the employer,  duly attested copies of each page of APARs of the last 5 years, the Latest Vigilance certificate, integrity certificate, and CR dossiers. The last date to apply for the vacancy in the CAG recruitment 2022 is 20th September 2022. Application forms received after the last date will not be acknowledged under any circumstances.
