CBIC Amends Sea Cargo Manifest and Transhipment Regulations, 2018
The Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) has issued a Notification No. 79/2025-Customs (N.T.) Dated 31st December, 2025, introducing the revision in the Sea Cargo Manifest and Transhipment Regulations, 2018. As per the notification, the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) is introducing new rules called the Sea Cargo Manifest and Transhipment (Fifth Amendment) Regulations, 2025.
Under the Sea Cargo Manifest and Transhipment Regulations, 2018, in the Table after FORM-XII, against Serial No. 6 in column (3), the entry is updated by substituting "31.03.2026" in place of the existing one. These changes are applicable on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
