CBSE Class 10, 12 Academic year 2024-25 Syllabus Released: The Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) released the syllabus for the CBSE Board Exam 2025 for classes 10th and 12th. Students can now prepare well as the syllabus is released for the academic year 2024-25. The remaining curriculum has been categorised into Secondary Curriculum for classes 9th and 10th and Senior Secondary Curriculum for classes 11th and 12th. The board has provided the CBSE syllabus and other assessments in Hindi as well for a better understanding of students. For further information or to download the syllabus of all subjects, students can visit the official website of CBSE and visit the curriculum section.
CBSE has specified that there are a total of 5 compulsory subjects and two optional subjects for class 10th students. Although, for class 12th CBSE has made seven major learning areas that include languages, humanities, mathematics, science, skill subjects, general studies, health, and physical education.

2. Visit the academic section on the website.
3. Find the section ‘Secondary and Senior School Curriculum’ and click on it.
4. The pdf will open on your screen.
5. Go through it carefully and take a printout of that for future reference.

3. For classes 9 and 10, Click on the tab ‘Secondary Curriculum(IX-X)’.
4. Students will get the entire syllabus individually and a breakdown of chapters as well as subjects.
5. For classes 11 and 12, Click on the tab ‘Senior Secondary Curriculum(XI-XII)’.
6. Again Students will get the entire syllabus individually and a breakdown of chapters as well as subjects.
7. Students are advised to download it carefully and take printouts for future reference.
IMPORTANT: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has also mentioned that the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) will release new syllabi and textbooks for classes 3 and 6, As, the syllabus is under preparation and according to reports it will be released soon. All the schools are advised to follow the new syllabus and textbooks for classes 3rd and 6th rather than those which were published till the year 2023, as said by Joseph Emmanuel [Director of the Board(Academics)].
