CBSE Class 10th Board Exam Result 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has completed the evaluation process of the Class 10 Board Exams for the academic year 2024 and has announced the CBSE Class 10 Board Result 2024 officially. Starting from March 3, 2024, the Class 10 examination concluded on March 13, 2024, signifying the end of a rigorous evaluation period for numerous students nationwide. Meanwhile, the Class 12 exams concluded on April 2, 2024. CBSE announced the Class 10 Board Result 2024 on May 13, 2024.
Around 16 lakh students took part in the Class 10 board examination, during this academic year. Considering an estimated average of 5 answer sheets per student, the total number of answer sheets to be evaluated surpassed 80 lakh.
The Central Board of Secondary Education has declared the results for Class 10 on its official website (cbseresults.nic.in). To check the result, students must provide their roll number and date of birth. The CBSE Class 10 results 2024 can also be accessed via SMS, IVRS, and Digi locker, in addition to the official CBSE website. The CBSE conducted the CBSE Class 10 board exams from February 15, 2024, till March 21, 2024.
Several online sources have indicated that the evaluation of CBSE Class 10 answer sheets is completed. The board has already declared the Class 10 Board Result 2024 on May 13, 2024.
In the academic session 2023-24, approximately 16 lakh students participated in the Class 10 board examination, showcasing the continued significance of the CBSE curriculum among Indian students. With an average estimate of 5 answer sheets per student, the total count of answer sheets to be evaluated surpasses 80 lakh, underlining the enormity of the task at hand for the board evaluators.
The evaluation process commenced in early March and involves meticulous scrutiny of each answer sheet. Following the assessment phase, the board undertakes several steps including the collection of answer sheets, result preparation, scanning, uploading, and computation of marks. This comprehensive process typically spans around 2 to 3 weeks, reflecting the board’s commitment to accuracy and transparency in result declaration.
To pass the CBSE Class 10th Board examination in 2024, all the students need to complete at least 33% marks in each subject. If a student fails to score the required passing marks they will be considered as failing the exam. To pass all the students must need to clear all subjects with the minimum passing marks.
