Evaluation Process Nearing Completion
According to various media sources, the evaluation process for CBSE Class 10 answer sheets is currently in its final stages, indicating that the board is gearing up for the declaration of results. Historically, the CBSE has tended to announce the Class 10 results in early May, aligning with previous years’ trends. However, an official confirmation regarding the result date is still awaited.
In the ongoing academic session, approximately 16 lakh students participated in the Class 10 board examination, showcasing the continued significance of the CBSE curriculum among Indian students. With an average estimate of 5 answer sheets per student, the total count of answer sheets to be evaluated surpasses 80 lakh, underlining the enormity of the task at hand for the board evaluators.
The evaluation process commenced in early March and involves meticulous scrutiny of each answer sheet. Following the assessment phase, the board undertakes several steps including the collection of answer sheets, result preparation, scanning, uploading, and computation of marks. Previous Year’s Performance
In the preceding academic year, the CBSE Class 10 pass percentage stood at an impressive 93.12%, surpassing the pre-Covid pass percentage of 91.10% in 2019. Once declared, the CBSE 10th results and marksheets will be accessible on the DigiLocker website and mobile app, offering students a convenient platform to access their academic records.
Last Years Remarkable Student Performance
Last year witnessed a significant enrollment of 2,184,117 students for the Class 10 exams, with 2,165,805 students appearing for the exams. Out of the total, 2,016,779 students successfully passed and were promoted to the next class, indicating a commendable performance by the student cohort. Additionally, a noteworthy number of 44,297 students achieved exceptional scores of 95% and above in the CBSE 10th board examinations, highlighting the academic prowess and dedication of students nationwide.
