Central Railways Recruitment 2022: Central Railways has invited the application for the posts of Hindustani Light Vocal (Male) and One post of either of (a) Hindustani Instrument Player (Sitar/Sarod/ Saarangi) or (b) Western Instrument Player (Guitar/Key Board Synthesizer/Flutist).

Interested Candidates can apply online through the official website of RRCCR for detailed instructions for filling up online applications will be available on the website. Application Fees of Rs.500 applicable with a provision of refund Rs.400 to those who are eligible and will appear in the written Test. Application fees of Rs. 250 applicable for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/Persons with Disabilities/Women/Minorities and Economically Backward Class Candidates.

Process of Submission of Application will start from 28-11-2022.

Last Date to Submit the Application is 12-12-2022.

A) Academic Qualification

Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% Marks in the aggregate. 50% marks is not to be insisted upon in case of SC/ ST/ Ex-servicemen OR Passed Matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship OR Passed Matriculation plus ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT

Note 1) Diploma in Engineering will not be considered as an alternative higher Qualification.

Note: Persons if appointed to the category of Clerk- cum- Typist should acquire Typing proficiency of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi within a period of two years from the date of appointment and till such time their appointments to this category will be provisional.

B) Essential Professional Qualification

Hindustani Light Vocal (Male)

One post of either a) a Hindustani Instrument Player(Sitar/ Sarod/Saarangi) or b) a Western Instrument Player (Guitar/Keyboard Synthesizer/Flutist)

C) Desirable Qualification

1. Experience in the field and performance are given on AIR (Air India Radio) / Doordarshan act.

2. Prizes won at National Level.

Selection Process for Central Railways Recruitment 2022

The recruitment will be based on the Written Test, followed by a Practical Demonstration. The eligible candidates will be called for Written Test and those who qualify in the Written Test will be called for a Practical Demonstration. The candidates, who are found eligible in all respects, will be considered.

The date, time, and venue of the Written Test, Practical Demonstration / Document Verification will be fixed by the RRC and will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course. Request for postponement of the written examination/practical demonstration/document verification will not be entertained under any circumstances.

1. The question paper shall be of 50 Objective Multiple Choice Type questions. The question Paper will be in English and Hindi.

2. The written test shall be of 60 Minutes duration.

3. RRC at its discretion may hold Written Test if considered necessary for all or for a limited number of candidates as may be deemed fit by RRC.

4. Candidates should read the instructions on the e-Call letter carefully and follow them scrupulously. Failure to comply with the instructions may lead to the cancellation of their candidature.

5. There will be no interview.
