What is the CLAT Exam?

The Common Law Admission Test, or CLAT, is a national-level law entrance exam administered by the Consortium of NLUs for admission to 5-year integrated LLB (UG) and one-year LLM (PG) programs.

The exam is held for admission to 24 NLUs for undergraduate courses and 21 NLUs for postgraduate degrees.

The exam is conducted in an offline, pen-and-paper format, with candidates answering questions about English, Current Affairs and GK, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Mathematics for the UG course, as well as Constitutional Law and other law subjects such as Jurisprudence, Torts, IPC, CrPC, CPC, Family Law, and IPR.

CLAT 2025 Application Dates:

• The Consortium of NLUs plans to open the CLAT registration session for 2025 in the first week of July 2024.
• The CLAT application form for 2025 will be available online tentatively until the first week of November 2024.
• Candidates who want to take the exam must submit their applications within the deadline.
• After the registration window closes, the CLAT application correction window will open.
• Candidates can correct their information using the correction window.
• Candidates will also be required to enter their NLU choices during the application process.

CLAT 2025 Admit Card Date:

The CNLU plans to deliver the CLAT admission card 2025 in the third week of November 2024.

• It should be mentioned that the CLAT hall ticket is an essential document that every candidate must bring with them on the day of the examination.

CLAT 2025 Examination Date

• The CLAT entrance exam 2025 will take place on December 1, 2024, from 2 to 4 p.m.
