CMRL is seeking competent and experienced candidates for the position of Chief General Manager, General Manager, Joint General Manager, and Assistant Manager on a deputation/contractual basis. There are 04 vacancies for the above post.

Chief General Manager (Contract Management)

• Applicants Should be in SAG grade from Group (A) services with a minimum of 25 years of overall post-qualification experience in handling contract management aspects in large infrastructure projects like Metro Rail / Railway / Highway projects etc.
• The overall experience shall include contract procurement, contract management, assessment of extension of time & variations, arbitration, dispute resolution, and claim management.

General Manager (Planning & Business Development)

Candidate should be in SAG grade from Group (A) service with a minimum of 20 years of post-qualification experience in Planning& Business Development.

Joint General Manager (Electrical & Mechanical)

Applicant should possess a minimum of 15 years of post-qualification experience in the field of MEP / E&M: HT / LT Electrical Power Supply Distribution Systems, Cabling, DG, UPS Systems, Earthing Systems, Lightning Arrestor, Lighting, VAC, Fire Protection Systems, water supply, BMS / SCADA Systems of their BIM / Design review, interface management, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning in Railway projects / Metro Rail projects or any large infrastructure project.

Assistant Manager (Company Secretary)

Candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience or completed 24 months of training in a PSU or Government Sector or in a Private Company of repute or from the reputed firm of
Practising Company Secretary/ies.

Age Limit for CMRL Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of CMRL Recruitment 2023, applicants for the above position should be between 30 years to 55 years of age, as of the date of notification i.e. 31.05.2023.

For Chief General Manager, General Manager  post the minimum age limit is 45 years and the maximum age limit is 55 years, for Joint General Manager  post the maximum age limit is 43 years, and Assistant Manager post the maximum age limit is 30 years.

Tenure for CMRL Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of CMRL Recruitment 2023, applicants will be hired for a tenure period of 3 years, which may be extendable up to 5 years. 

Qualification for CMRL Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the CMRL Recruitment 2023 must have the following qualification.

Chief General Manager (Contract Management)

• Candidate must be a B.E/ B.Tech (Civil) graduate from a Govt. recognized Institute / University approved by AICTE / UGC. PostGraduation in Construction Management / Transportation is preferable.
• The overall experience shall include contract procurement, contract management, assessment of extension of time & variations, arbitration, dispute resolution, and claim management.
• Should have extensive knowledge and experience in handling construction contracts with FIDIC conditions of contract and Multinational Development Bank’s procurements.
• Shall be converted with contract law, Arbitration Act, and CVC guidelines.

General Manager (Planning & Business Development)

• Must be a graduate of a Govt. recognized University / Institute with two years MBA degree in Marketing/Finance.
• Property Development in Railway Projects / Metro Rail Projects or Similar kind of large-scale infrastructure development projects and management will be preferred.
• Officers shall be responsible for the development of various metro rail properties for commercial use. Shall also be responsible for the Preparation/review of Feasibility Reports/Detailed Project Reports for implementation of Mass Transit Systems, including project approvals and funding tie-ups etc.

Joint General Manager (Electrical & Mechanical)

Applicant should have a graduate of a recognized University/Institute with two years MBA degree in
Marketing/Finance

Assistant Manager (Company Secretary)

• Must be a qualified company secretary by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India with minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience.
• The candidate should have sound knowledge and experience in all secretarial compliance under the Companies Act, 2013 with all applicable laws and exposure to prepare reports/presentations to the Management.

Salary for CMRL Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the Official notification of CMRL Recruitment 2023, selected applicants will get a monthly salary ranging between Rs.60000 to Rs.230000.

Chief General Manager (Contract Management) applicants will a monthly Salary of Rs. 230000
General Manager (Planning & Business Development) applicants will a monthly Salary of Rs. 225000
Joint General Manager (Electrical & Mechanical) applicants will have a monthly Salary of Rs. 125000
Assistant Manager (Company Secretary) applicants will a monthly Salary of Rs. 60000

Application Fee for CMRL Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of CMRL Recruitment 2023,  Unreserved & candidates falling under other categories are required to pay a Non-refundable fee of Rs.300 and SC/ST are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs.50.

Selection Procedure for CMRL Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of CMRL Recruitment 2023, candidate selection will comprise a two-stage process of interview followed by a medical examination.
