Competition Commission of India Recruitment 2022: The Competition Commission of India (CCI), the Chief National Competition regulator in India, has issued an advertisement inviting eligible candidates to apply for the post of Secretary. The recruitment process for the following post will be on a Deputation/Promotion basis. Interested candidates meeting all the requirements can apply for the post easily in the prescribed application form (Annexure-I). 

Note: Interested candidates are requested to submit their respective applications together with the self-attested copies of all the important documents required. The last date to apply for the post of secretary in the Competition Commission of India is 30th September 2022. 

Age Limit for the Post

On Deputation Basis:

The maximum age limit to apply for the post of Secretary in CCI shall be “not exceeding fifty-eight years” on the closing date of receipt of the application.

On Promotion Basis: 

For the selection of a departmental candidate, an appointment to the post will be made promotion basis. 

Eligibility Criteria to Apply for the Post of Secretary in CCI

For appointment on a deputation basis, for Pay Matrix Level 15, candidates from amongst officers of the central government or state government holding a post in Pay Matrix Level 15 are eligible. Or if you are from amongst officers of the central government or state government holding a post in Pay Matrix Level 14, you are good to apply. 

For appointment on a Deputation basis, a candidate should have at least five years of experience as an Advisor in Pay Matrix Level 14.
