Overview:

Volvo is hiring eligible and interested applicants for the post of Senior Software Engineer at their Gurgaon, Haryana, India locations. You will work in a cross-functional DevOps team, developing functionality & services related to charging. Together with the team’s Solution Architect, you will contribute to the technical design and software delivery practices ensuring aspects like security, robustness, scalability, efficient CI/CD, and identifying maintenance and enabler needs.

Role and Responsibilities

• As a person, we believe you take responsibility and enjoy teamwork, solving our challenges together, and contributing with team spirit!
• A university degree in Computer science or similar
• 3 years experience as a developer in the Java eco-systems
• Experience in agile development, DevOps practices and Continuous Deployment
• Knowledge in the following techniques is a great plus: REST, JMS, PostgreSQL, Liquibase, Asynchronous programming, Docker, Git, Microservice
  architecture, AWS cloud services, Test automation frameworks
• Industry experience in logistics, electric vehicle charging, or electrical energy is not required but an advantage.
• Fluent in English – both written and spoken
• Valid work permit for Sweden, if not EU-citizen
