CPCL Recruitment 2022: Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) has invited applications from young, self-motivated and energetic persons of Indian Nationality for the following posts. There are a total of 22 vacancies for these posts which may increase or decrease in the relevant categories at the absolute discretion of the Management and in compliance with the Presidential Directives on the reservation at the time of appointment. The Age Limit for these posts is 26 years, which may vary depending on the post. General, EWS, and OBC candidates are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs.1000. Candidates will be appointed in the IDA Pay Scale of 50,000-1,80,000 on a basic pay of 50,000 (Rupees Fifty Thousand only).

For every Post except CPCL 10, the selection shall be made through Online Test (to be held tentatively in Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Kochin, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bangalore only) and Personal Interview of the short-listed candidates for assessment of different facets of Knowledge, Skills, Attitude, Aptitude, etc. and for Post Code CPCL 10 the selection shall be made through Personal Interview to be held in Chennai. Pay and Emoluments for CPCL Recruitment 2022:

Candidates will be appointed in the IDA Pay Scale of 50,000-1,80,000 on a basic pay of 50,000 (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) in Grade ‘A’ in Supervisory cadre, subject to medical fitness.

Educational Qualification and Experience (as on 01.07.2022):

Except for Post Code CPCL 10:

The selection shall be made through Online Test (to be held tentatively in Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Kochin, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore only) and Personal Interview of the short-listed candidates for assessment of different facets of Knowledge, Skills, Attitude, Aptitude, etc.

The online test shall be for 120 marks of two parts viz., General Aptitude (Verbal Ability, G.K, Reasoning / Logical Deductions & Numerical Ability) comprising of 50 Questions and concerned discipline knowledge with 70 Questions. ¼ mark per wrong answer per question shall be deducted. The questions shall be objective type Multiple Choice Questions with total time duration of 2 hours. For Officer (Marketing), the discipline knowledge will be based on the essential education qualification viz. Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical / Civil.

Final selection will be based on 85% of Written Test Marks and 15% of Interview Marks. Candidate must secure minimum 40% marks in Written Test and Interview separately (35% for SC/ST/PwBD).

Selection Procedure for Post Code CPCL 10:

The selection shall be made through Personal Interview to be held in Chennai. Candidates will be short-listed for Personal Interview based on their qualification, experience and overall suitability.

Application Fee for CPCL Recruitment 2022: General, EWS, and OBC candidates are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs.1000. SC / ST / PwBD / ExSM. Women candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.
