However, all age relaxations are subject to a maximum age of 50 years.

Required Qualification and Experience for CSL Recruitment 2024:

For Assistant Engineer (Mechanical):

• The candidate should have a 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education.

Experience:

• The candidate should have Seven years post qualification experience in mechanical works in a
• Shipyard or
• Dockyard or
• Engineering Company or
• Government Establishment.
• Out of the seven years experience, two years should be in supervising mechanical works and workers.

For Assistant Fire Officer:

• The candidate should have passed the SSLC and Pass in Sub-Officers Course from the National Fire Service College Nagpur or equivalent examination and seven years post qualification experience in firefighting and allied operations, preferably in a shipyard.

For Assistant Engineer (Maintenance):

• The candidate should have a three-year diploma in mechanical engineering from a state board of technical education. Seven years post qualification experience in Machinery/Crane maintenance works preferably in a Shipyard or Dockyard or Engineering Company or Government Establishment, out of which two years should be in supervising maintenance works and workmen. OR
• The candidate should have an ITI (NTC) Certificate and a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the trade of mechanic motor vehicle/fitter with 22 years of experience in machinery/crane maintenance works in a shipyard or government establishment.

Selection Process for CSL Recruitment 2024:

Online tests and PowerPoint presentations on work experience will be part of the selection for CSL Recruitment 2024. The PowerPoint presentation will be held at CSL, Kochi.
