The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has issued a notification (Notification No. 54/2025-Customs (N.T.) dated 10th September 2025) regarding the amendment in one of the notifications of the Government of India. As per the notification, under Section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962, the CBIC is making an amendment in the earlier notification No. 12/97-Customs (N.T.) dated 2nd April 1997.
In this amendment, a new entry has been added for the State of Uttar Pradesh. In the table, against number 12 relating to the State of Uttar Pradesh, in columns (3) and (4), after item (xiv) in column (3) and entries relating there to in column, the new entry has been added. As per this entry, Dalpatpur in Moradabad has also been declared as a place where imported goods can be unloaded and export goods can be loaded.
