Delhi Govt Nominates Santosh Kumar Rai, IAS as State Member of Delhi AAR
The Policy Branch of the Department of Trade and Taxes under the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi has nominated Shri Santosh Kumar Rai, IAS, who is presently employed in the role of Special Commissioner-I, as the State Government member in the Delhi Authority for Advance Ruling (Delhi AAR). The nomination is expected to reinforce the functioning of the authority and contribute to efficient decision-making in tax administration.
The government has announced this nomination through an Order No. F.4/Notification/Member/DAAR/DTandT/2026/206, dated May 14, 2026, issued by Nikhil Kumar, IAS, Commissioner (State Tax), Department of Trade and Taxes, GNCT of Delhi, in pursuance of its powers granted through a Finance Department (Government of NCT of Delhi) Notification No. F.No. 3(24)/Fin (Exp-1)/2024-25/DSI/116, dated January 30, 2025.
