Last Day to Generate UDIN

Due Date Alert: Today is the Last Day to Generate UDIN For Audits Where AGM Was Held on 30th September 2025
If you are a Chartered Accountant, this is an important reminder. Today is the last day to generate the UDIN (Unique Document Identification Number) for audits where the Annual General Meeting (AGM) was scheduled on 30th September 2025.
UDIN is a unique number that is generated for every document signed by the Chartered Accountant. The UDIN helps to verify the authenticity of documents for the regulators, stakeholders, and third parties. This also prevents the non-CAs from misrepresenting themselves as a CA and forging documents.
The last date to generate a UDIN for audits is 60 days from the date of signing the document, and if the AGM was scheduled on September 30, this 60-day UDIN window starts right from this date and ends on November 28, 2025. This means today is the final day to generate the UDIN. After this 60-day limit has passed, the UDIN portal will not allow you to generate the UDIN.
All the ICAI members who have signed any reports or certificates related to such AGMs are advised to generate the UDIN today to ensure timely compliance.
