Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited had submitted an Integrated Governance Report, pertaining to the quarter ended June 30, 2026, disclosing the litigation ongoing against it.

In connection with the same litigation, the company has received multiple orders levying an aggregate penalty amounting to Rs 57.73 crore for the Financial Year 2014-15 to Financial Year 2020-21 (Assessment Year 2015-16 to Assessment Year 2021-22).

These orders have been issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax, Central Circle 2 (1)-Pune, Income-tax Department. Presently, the company is in the process of evaluating these orders and has given assurance that it will pursue all possible legal remedies against these orders, such as filing an appeal challenging these orders before an appropriate appellate authority.
