In accordance with the official notification released by the EPFO dated May 22, 2025, regarding the “Employees' Provident Fund Junior Translation Officer (Probationers) Examination Scheme, 2025,” the EPF Junior Translation Officer (Probationers) Examination Scheme, 2025, will come into effect from the date of issue of the circular (May 22, 2025). The notification issued by EPFO mentions the eligibility criteria along with instructions for employees appointed in the organisation against direct recruitment quota vacancies in the cadre of Junior Translation Officer. and placed on probation on appointment. The examination consists of four papers: Paper I (MCQ) for 50 marks, Paper II (Descriptive and MCQ) for 100 marks, Paper III (Descriptive) for 100 marks and Paper IV (MCQ and Skill Test) for 100 marks, each of 2 hours.

Eligibility Criteria for EPFO Junior Translator Officer Exam 2025

• The exam is available for employees appointed through direct recruitment in the Junior Translation Officer cadre and placed on probation on appointment.
• Passing the examination within the prescribed period is required for the successful completion of probation. Candidates who can not qualify within the normal period may be given a chance to appear in the examination during any extended probation.

Medium of EPFO Junior Translator Officer Exam 2025

The medium of the exam will be Hindi/English. The exam can be written in either Hindi or English. However, in a language paper, you have to write the exam in the relevant language.

Venue and Frequency of EPF Junior Translator Officer Exam 2025

• The exam may be held twice in a year, and the time and place may be decided by the Competent Authority.
• Those probationers who have not qualified in the exam will appear in the exam as per the program of examination confirmed by the Competent Authority.

• General category: 45% in each paper
• SC/ST/PwBD candidates: 40% in each paper

Grant of Exemption in Junior Translator Officer Exam 2025
