EPFO Personal Assistant Exam 2025: Know Eligibility Criteria, Syllabus The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has introduced the Personal Assistant (Probationers) Examination Scheme, 2025. As per the official notification released by the EPFO dated May 22, 2025, regarding the "Employees' Provident Fund Personal Assistant (Probationers) Examination, Scheme, 2025," the Employee Provident Fund Personal Assistant (Probationers) Examination Scheme, 2025, will come into effect from the date of issue of the circular, May 22, 2025. The notification outlines the eligibility and guidelines for employees appointed under direct recruitment to the Personal Assistant cadre. The examination will be conducted in four papers: Paper I (MCQ) for 50 marks, Paper II (Descriptive and MCQ) for 100 marks, Paper III (Descriptive) for 100 marks and Paper IV (MCQ and Skill Test) for 100 marks, each of 2 hours.

Eligibility Criteria for EPF Personal Assistant (Probationers) Examination Scheme 2025

• The exam is available for employees appointed through direct recruitment in the Personal Assistant cadre and placed on probation on appointment.
• Passing the examination within the prescribed period is required for the successful completion of probation. Candidates failing to qualify within the normal period may be given a chance to appear in the examination during any extended probation.

The medium of the examination will be Hindi/English. The probationer can write the exam either in Hindi or English, except for the language paper.

Venue and Frequency of EPF Personal Assistant (Probationers) Examination Scheme 2025

• The examination may be held twice a year at locations and dates decided by the Competent Authority.
• All probationers who have not cleared the exam must attend as per the scheduled program of examination approved by the Competent Authority.

• General category: 45% in each paper
• SC/ST/PwBD candidates: 40% in each paper
